This was our second stay in Sutton Place as we transfer to Guadeloupe and then returned to Dominica. We had Suite 1 first time and Suute 2 second time, both wonderful rooms inwhat was an excellent hotel. Service was first class throughout and we would not have asked for more from our suites especially the air conditioning. Staff were excellent prior to trip in helping is arrange local car hire (Sonar) and with making sure we had a parking slot right in front of hotel. The hotel cafe was also excellent. Bottom line would highly recommend this worldly and first class hotel for any stay in Roseau - it is also within easy walking distance of the ferry port (even with liggage).
A lovely hotel right in the heart of Roseau, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the Aircon is amazing when coming back to the room to cool down.<br>There are plenty of places to eat around, and there are communal areas where you can bring food back to eat and a microwave to heat food up. There is also a waterjug which is convenient for getting cold water before leaving for the day.<br>The staff are very friendly and helpful, I had a issue where the toilet started leaking slightly when flushing, but it was fixed within 30 minutes of reporting the fault.
The Staff at Sutton Place Hotel were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The ambience is always inviting and comfortable. Yes you guessed it, this was not my first time at the place and I hope it would not be my last. The room with its vintage furniture was kept in immaculate condition and provided a cosy retreat.<br>Located in the center of Dominica’s capital, this family run establishment provides a secure and safe environment for its guests, not only for those seeking to conduct business on the island but also for anyone wishing to explore the town with its friendly folk and an opportunity to experience the island’s rich culture. The hotel is within easy reach of shops, eating places, transportation and the night life on offer.<br>If you prefer to dine in, the newly opened café is an ideal spot for breakfast and lunch where one can sample its delicious local cuisine. Sutton Place Hotel is a convenient location for the Creole Festival, Carnival, Christmas and many other popular events held on the island.<br>Your tour operator will be only too willing to pick you up and take you around to the many interesting sites on this mountainous gem of the Caribbean.<br>A big thumbs up for Sutton Place Hotel.
Nice comfy room. Close to port so we could walk to Sutton Place. Staff always helpful and friendly
We arrived at 1am in the morning after delays at the airport but check in was smooth. We were quickly given our keys and were in our rooms (shame about no lifts but I knew this before hand) the suite was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t very filling and I ended up buying things to make breakfast. I did have to ask for coffee refills but this was done swiftly.<br>The 2 ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful.<br>Despite the mini gripes I would definitely return here.
